Hua Chen, tenure-track Assistant Professor. He received his Bachelor’s degree from College of Control Science and Engineering and an honors degree from Chu-Ko-Chen College at Zhejiang University in 2012, and his Ph.D. degree from Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at The Ohio State University in 2018. Then he was a postdoctoral researcher at OSU before joining Southern University of Science and Technology in China as a Research Assistant/Associate Professor. His research interests lie boradly in the interdisciplinary area between control theory, reinforcement learning and robotics, with special focus on legged and humanoid robots.
